NeSmith Tour to Malden and Clayhill
(May
8, 2012) Fulton, Mississippi
driver Eric Cooley ventured to the Malden Speedway in Malden,
Missouri and the Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tennessee over
the May 4-5 weekend to compete in a pair of NeSmith Chevrolet
Dirt Late Model Series Touring Division showdowns. On Friday
night at Malden, Eric timed in twelfth fastest in qualifying,
won his B-Main, and later advanced up to ninth in the final
rundown of the $2,000 to win feature event. At Clayhill on Saturday
evening, Eric once again laid down the twelfth quickest lap
in time trials and won his B-Main in preliminary action. Unfortunately,
mechanical woes caused him to retire from the $2,500 to win
main event after only forty circuits and Eric was relegated
to a fifteenth place finish. Full results from both shows can

Mike Marlar Follows
Outlaws to 311 and Swainsboro
(May
7, 2012) Mike Marlar and the
Bryson Motorsport team followed the World of Outlaws Late Model
Series to the 311 Motor Speedway in Madison, North Carolina
and the Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia over the May
4-5 weekend for a pair of $10,000 to win tussles. On Friday
night at 311, Mike timed in thirteenth fastest during qualifying
and later ran fourth in his heat race. After rolling off from
the outside of the fifth row in the 50-lap feature event, Mike
was up to sixth in the running order, but was forced to retire
at the halfway point with overheating issues. The Winfield,
Tennessee standout was relegated to a disappointing twentieth
place performance at 311.
At Swainsboro on Saturday evening, Mike
finished seventh in his loaded heat race and later won his B-Main
to gain access into the 'Pine Tree 50.' He then started the
50-lapper from the nineteenth position and proceeded to pick
off seven competitors en route to a steady twelfth place outing.
Mike currently finds himself tenth in the latest version of
the WOOLMS point standings following the double-dip. Full results

Cooley Podiums at Columbus
Speedway... Twice!
(April 30, 2012) On
Saturday night, April 28, Eric Cooley and his #33b team invaded
the Columbus Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi and brought both
their Super Late Model and Crate Late Model. Eric was fast in
both divisions, as he finished a strong runner-up in the NeSmith
Crate Late Model class behind only winner Jeremy Shaw and third
in the Super Late Model behind only Jason Brock and Rick Rickman.

Bryson Motorsport Busy
on World of Outlaws Trail

29, 2012) Bryson Motorsport drivers
Mike Marlar and Eric Cooley hit the World of Outlaws Late Model
Series trail over the April 27-28 weekend. On Friday night,
the North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama played host
to a $10,000 to win program. Mike ran third in heat race action
to earn a top ten starting spot in the 50-lapper, but later
retired after only 26 circuits and wound up nineteenth in the
final rundown. Eric advanced through his B-Main into the feature
event and finished one position ahead of his teammate in the
eighteenth spot.
The dirt-slinging action quickly shifted
to the bad-fast Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee on
Saturday evening for the $10,000 to win 'Outlaw Sizzler 50.'
Mike, who was the lone Bryson Motorsport driver in competition
on Saturday, timed in ninth quickest during qualifying and later
grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his loaded
heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the seventh
row in the 50-lap main event, the driver known as the "Winfield
Warrior" recorded a fourteenth place finish in the caution-free
race. Mike currently finds himself ninth in the latest version
of the WOOLMS point battle following the doubleheader weekend.

Marlar Lands Another
Top Ten at Smoky Mountain Speedway
(April
16, 2012) The Bryson Motorsport
team and driver Mike Marlar had their sights set on the 3rd
Annual 'Commonwealth 100' over the April 13-14 weekend at the
Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia. Unfortunately,
mechanical problems during Mike's qualifying effort on Friday
night caused him to scratch from the remainder of the $25,000
to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series extravaganza. The #5b
team quickly regrouped and headed to the Smoky Mountain Speedway
in Maryville, Tennessee on Saturday evening for a $5,000 to
win Southern Allstars Dirt Racing Series battle. After timing
in tenth fastest in SAS qualifying, Mike drove his Rocket Chassis
to a solid tenth place effort in the 50-lap feature. Complete

Mike Marlar Notches
Pair of Top Tens in Southeast!

9, 2012) Winfield, Tennessee
native Mike Marlar traveled to the Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold,
Georgia and the Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee over
the April 6-7 weekend. On Friday night at Boyd's, Mike wound
up tenth in the final rundown of a $3,000 to win, unsanctioned
program. At Cleveland on Saturday evening, Mike ran fourth in
heat race action to earn the twelfth starting spot in the $10,000
to win 'Shamrock 50.' During the course of the Southern Allstars
Dirt Racing Series showdown, Mike worked his way past four competitors

Marlar Tackles Illini
100 at Farmer City Raceway...

1, 2012) Mike Marlar and the
#5b Bryson Motorsport team ventured north to the Farmer City
Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois on March 30-31 for the annual
running of the 'Illini 100.' The two-day World of Outlaws Late
Model Series extravaganza drew 53 competitors to the 1/4-mile
fairgrounds venue and all eyes were fixated on the hefty $20,000
top prize. On Friday night, Mike laid down the thirteenth fastest
lap during the qualifying session and later grabbed the third
and final transfer spot in his loaded heat race. After rolling
off from the thirteenth starting spot in the 100-lapper, Mike
fought valiantly to move forward, but retired after only thirty
circuits and wound up twenty-fourth in the final rundown. The
Winfield, Tennessee standout currently finds himself tied for
eleventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings
